Telford-based Transicon has signed an Advanced Partner Agreement in the Integrator Expert Program with Danfoss Drives. The purpose of the Partner Program is to enable both companies to provide the best possible service to new and existing customers, thereby increasing their project turnover in key markets across the UK.
"The Integrator Expert Program (IEP) is a strategic partnership programme that we are rolling out across all our focus industries,” said Alan Baird, Danfoss Drives UK & IE country manager. “Our aim is to create strong partnerships with selected system integrators and grow business together, passing on the benefit of our knowledge and expertise to the end user.”
One of the most important elements of the programme is the creation of a common marketing strategy for both companies, defining target customer groups, potential projects and common marketing actions.
Transicon joins Danfoss Drives’ Integrator Expert Program enabling it to provide unparalleled service and support for its customers. As with all of its Advanced Partners, Danfoss Drives provides Transicon with a comprehensive range of products, backed by a wide portfolio of services and an extensive training programme. Meanwhile, the agreement with Transicon gives Danfoss Drives the opportunity to participate in significant project deliveries.
“We are looking forward to working with Danfoss as it gives us an excellent opportunity to develop new market segments and to make full use of the expertise of our new sales engineer who has many years of experience with Danfoss drives,” enthused Richard Cotsford, Sales and Marketing Director at Transicon. “Danfoss has a huge UK installed base which offers opportunities for upgrades to the latest products, and it also has innovative products that will open up new applications. Transicon has been a system integrator for over 50 years and our entry into the Danfoss Integrator Expert Program is gratifying recognition of our technical strengths and our proven ability to meet customer requirements.”
